When you access our website, information about access (date, time, viewed page, IP address) is stored as log files on our server. We do so for the legitimate interest of monitoring technical operations, optimising our information offerings and detecting attacks on our website. This data is evaluated by us exclusively for our own statistical purposes, in an anonymous form.

The IP address is already anonymous on our server.

Processing takes place on behalf of Salzburger Land Tourismus GmbH, Wiener Bundesstrasse 23, 5300 Hallwang (Tel: +43 662 6688-0, info@salzburgerland.com).
As a rule, no personal data is collected from us if you use our website. If you contact us via the provided contact forms or subscribe to our newsletter, your email address and other personal data will be used only for individual correspondence to answer your request and, if necessary, for the postal mailing of direct mail. The data will not be disclosed to third parties without your consent unless this is required by law or necessary for the fulfilment of your request or your order. For this reason, it will be forwarded to tourism associations in the region of your choice or to individual tourism businesses in the respective region, so that they can create the offers you want. This processing is based on the legal requirement for pre-contractual measures or the legitimate interest of Salzburger Land Tourismus for the dispatch of direct mail. Likewise, data is forwarded to logistic partners in order for the requested information material to be dispatched. In addition, the data will be passed on to processors who work exclusively on the instructions of Salzburger Land Tourismus GmbH, who do not use the data for their own purposes and who are bound by their own agreements to the data protection obligations of the General Data Protection Regulation.

You have the right to access, rectify and delete the data, the right to restrict processing, to object to processing (in particular, the opposition to sending direct mail) and the right to complain to a supervisory authority.

General Inquiries

The data related to your request (name, contact details, contents of the request, history of previous contacts with us) that you send via the contact form or to us by email will be used by us for customer service (pre-contractual measures) and for marketing purposes (legitimate interest in sending direct mail by post). Your data will be deleted by us 3 years after your last request, provided there are no legal obligations to retain the data.

On the basis of our legitimate interests (i.e. interest in the analysis, optimisation and economic operation of our online offer within the meaning of Art. 6 (1) lit. This website uses YouTube to display videos. YouTube is a video service from Google Ireland Limited (“Google”),  Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Irland. Google Tag Manager

Our website uses Google Tag Manager. With Google Tag Manager, website tags can be managed from one interface. The Google Tag Manager tool itself is a domain free of cookies and does not collect personally identifiable information. The tool triggers other tags, which may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data. If disabled at the domain or cookie level, it will remain in effect for all tracking tags implemented with Google Tag Manager.

Facebook pixels

In some cases, we advertise on the social media platform Facebook. This is operated by Facebook Ireland Ltd., 4 Grand Canal Square, Grand Canal Harbor, Dublin 2, Ireland (“Facebook”). By clicking on this advertisement, you will be redirected to our own website. Through the information provided by Facebook Pixel, we can then check which ads were more successful and which were less successful. For this, it logs which pages of our website were viewed after clicking on the advertisement.

Facebook is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and based on an adequacy decision of the EU Commission under Art. 45 GDPR,  guarantees to comply with European data protection law or to have an adequate level of data protection. Facebook Remarketing / Retargeting

Our pages include remarketing tags from the Facebook social network, 1601 South California Ave., Palo Alto, CA 94304, USA. When you visit our pages, the remarketing tags make a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server. Facebook receives the information that you have visited our site with your IP address. As a result, Facebook can assign the visit to our pages to your user account. We can use this information for the display of Facebook Ads. We point out that we, as the provider of the pages, are not aware of the content of the data transmitted and their use by Facebook. AdServer (Adform)

The stillenacht.com website uses Adform A/S products (AdServer, DSP) to display targeted advertisements. For this purpose, certain data (device type, geographical location, pages viewed) will be gathered and analysed from those expressing an interest in topics related to our website or featured in the our marketing campaigns. The identifying details collected are sorted into specific topic areas (e.g. City & Culture, Hiking & The Alps) in anonymised form. Data in this form can no longer be attributed to individual visitors to our website.

As part of an agreement in accordance with Article 26 of the GDPR, we cooperate with Austrian regional tourism organisations in order to promote Austria as a tourist destination and support Austria’s tourism and recreation sector. Data pertaining to our website visitors and campaign participants is therefore entered into a shared database in anonymised form. This makes it impossible to attribute any data to individual visitors to our website.

We use the anonymised and thematically categorised identifying details to display topic-specific online marketing to interested parties. We locate these interested parties using our own marketing campaigns, in the shared database, or from Adform’s global data holdings. The data we collect is also used by other Adform customers to extend their own customer bases.
